The ESMAC Executive Committee and the Turkish Local Organising Committee are
delighted to invite you to participate in 17th ESMAC Annual Meeting which will take place
at Gloria Golf Hotel in Antalya, Turkey from September 08-13,2008.
The scientific programme includes instructional course lectures and seminars delivered by
distinguished speakers from all across Europe, free papers, posters and technical exhibits.
In line with the various disciplines of neuromusculoskeletal system throughout Europe, this
Meeting focuses on important and central topics of our daily clinical practice, such as
osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, spasticity, pain treatment in musculoskeletal diseases,
necessary procedures and orthoses in the rehabilitation of neuromusculoskeletal diseases
and the intensive needs of neurology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics and sports medicine,
among other things.
As in previous years we will be organising a large and exciting industry exhibition. This
exhibition will provide an opportunity to show the latest and most spectacular products and
innovations from your sector. We anticipate participant attendance to be between 400-500.
All breaks will take place in the vendor area for the entire meeting. All food and beverages
for breaks will be in the vendor space. Posters will be located adjacent to the vendor area
during the entire meeting.
Meeting will be held in Gloria Golf Resort situated in Belek- Antalya set in pine forests at
the foot of the Taurus mountains having access to the beach via a bridge over the Acısu
river. There are fully equipped 16 conference and meeting halls in different sizes (from 20
to 1056 square meter), with a capacity of 2500 people in total. The Foyer is 845 square
meter and 3 meters in height. There are 4 unit of 43" Plasma TV and Stationary Sound
System.
Our Local Organising Committee has put together a complete social programme to provide
not only with high-class entertainment but also with some profound insight into the unique
history and culture of Turkey.
Antalya has always been one of the cities that everyone would like to visit at least once in
